Hey all,
Been a very casual lurker since I picked up my 2004 Crew Cab LT in June. I've been very happy with the truck, and have had no problems that others have reported. So far it is totally stock with small tires (245/75's?) and I eventually plan on some mods, but adding costs to this already pricey truck is a hard sell.
I bought this truck to tow my Mastercraft (hence my screen name) between Salt Lake City and Lake Powell (400 miles one way) and other lakes in the Salt Lake area and it is living up to all expectations except mileage.
I am using this truck almost exclusively to tow. I've only got 3500 miles on it, and use my old truck (91 Chev K1500) as my primary bad weather driver.
My question is: Am I doing a disservice by not putting a lot of miles on it? It is an expensive truck and I keep my cars forever so this truck should outlast me, so I want to keep it in good shape.
What say the experts?
