: Battery Dune10 10-23-2007, 11:56 AM My truck started this morning for about 10 seconds then shut off. It would turn over after that but would not fire. After 3 times of turnging it the batteries went dead. Is this just the batteries or maybe injectors. Have them charged and then tested-- also check for battery drain. Batteries usually only last 2 to 3 years anyway.:D rpidelt 10-23-2007, 12:48 PM It's also possible you have a fuel issue. When they go bad, the high pressure fuel pump can't build up enough pressure on the rail to fire the engine up. What year truck/how old your batteries?
