My best tank was 22mpg at low altitude all highway. At home in NM@5000ft my highway tanks are 16-19 and my city tanks are 13-16. I'm hoping to improve fuel economy when I change my factory fuel injectors which have 196K miles on them.

Mileage is very much dependent on right foot closer to 1800 rpm better mpg will be peak torque is around 2800 rpm, with my 3:73 rears gear in OD I have gotten as much as 20-22 mpg running aroung 50-55 mph with about 600# of stuff in the bed, I normally get 14-17 depending how hard I'm running 16 is my avg at 70-75mph empty on cruise control, 13mpg when pulling 12K loaded GN trailer.

MPG much dependant upon driving style and rear ratio. Auto & man doesn't seem to have as much effect as does gearing, and footin'.

Mine is 10 @ avg 65 mph & at best 13 @ 55mph. 4.10 rear, GMC Savana BUS (no comparision)
