: leaning truck driving me crazy!

As many have done, I put 1" block in the back and cranked the torsion bars so the front was 1" lower than the back (and level side to side). Next step as I have read was to get an allignment. Instead of going to the dealer (involves removing things...) I went to a certified shop. 3 hours later, the Tech came out and (very impatiently) told me how my truck wasn't level (side to side) and it was making it difficult to allign. I took the truck and scheduled an appointment for the next day after being told that I may be charged to "level" my truck.

Now, I TOLD them when I got there there that I needed the alignment because I cranked my torsion bars.

That night I made sure the truck was level, measuring (in my level garage) at the front of the frame rails, at the lower control arm bolt, and at the lip of the front wheel well. All within 1/8 of an inch.
Next day. I picked up my truck (with a bill for $25 for the raising of hte rihgt side, and lowering of the left side). the truck tracked straight, wheel was centered.. all good. when I pulled into the garage I didn't need a tape measure to see that it was leaning to the drivers side alot! 1 inch at he frame rails.... ect...

What's going on? Did I measure at the wrong places? Where is the proper place to measure side to side level when adjusting torsion bars?

Maybe it is your garage?

I measured from the frame to the ground. Did you fill up on your way home? The fuel tank is on the drivers side and could cause it to change height a bit.

All measurments were taken with a full tank, started from the ground up to the frame, the LCA bolt, and fender well.

Well, I put a level on the floor and it is level, a also checked most flat areas on the truck and they indicated a lean to the drivers side.

I measure from the fender to the tire. That measures the lean of the whole truck, body and suspension.

Mine leans to the drivers side also. I have been considering what to do about it.

Mine is lower on the drivers side measuring from the ground to bottom lip of the wheelwell.
I cranked my bars the same amount and the factory setting had a port list as well.
I've got 1/2" diff from side to side in front and almost dead even in the back.

For some reason, MOST of these trucks sit 1/2" lower on the drivers side.(?)
