All - when my wife's 98 Olds Regency seized up due to lack of coolant ("gosh honey, I guess I didn't see the low coolant light..."), I took the automatic dimming rear view mirror with compass (no temperature) to install into my 94 3500. It has five wires coming out of it, and I can't figure out what they are all for. The wires are:

1) Black/White
2) Pink/Black
3) Pink
4) Gray
5) Green

I've been able to decipher the Black/White is ground, Pink/Black is +12V. When I hook a power supply to those to wires, the compass activates. I've been unable to get the mirror to dim, though. Been covering the forward-facing photoresistor while shining a flashlight at the rear-facing photoresister. No luck

Figure one of the wires heads out to the driver's side mirror which also dimmed in her car.

Anyone have a wiring diagram of the circuit? I'm hoping that GM standardized on the mirrors across models and a newer truck would have the same diagram as the 98 Olds. Thanks!
