I tried the gauge dimmer but it was too dark for me, so I had to install a dimmer from Autometer, worked better. Also will give you the option to turn them completely off without having to install a separate switch to control power. Lonestar06 10-21-2007, 01:46 PM Brown wire, white stripe. It does decent for my Pyro (elect). I work on my 71 camaro way to much and have run into, "hey dumbass, leave well enough alone" then I don't.... So nows the time to excersise that and leave it be until the newness of the truck leaves me to f$*k something up. bad04dmax 10-23-2007, 08:11 AM where is everyone tapping into for a 12+V source for their gauges? i got my gauges installed and all of the major wiring already ran yesterday, just have to make the electricall connections and im in business. wasnt all that hard to do, just time consuming to do it right and have it look nice. T2CH 10-23-2007, 08:25 AM I used a fuse tap in the fuse box on drivers interior under the pillar. You can pick them up at local parts stores. Some call them piggyback fuses.
