my edge with attitude finally quit. tries to engage but only jerks. engine temp all the way to 190s. i tried the winter cover helped for a bit, but now no results. dealer will look at it in the morning. i guess i will hook up my egr valve but not pull fingers plate. should be rather exciting talking to the service manager. i guess i will tell him, ask me no questions and i will tell yo0u no lies. i removed the edge, but i would think the probe wires would be rather telling. not going to remove. probably wrong move. anyone see anything wrong with this

Will the probe work with other guages? If so I'd get a cheap guage and hook it up in place of the attitude when taking it in.

So I assume without the juice the truck operates normally? With the juice you are seeing 'bursting'? Power is being added in bursts? IS that how you would describe it?

i never thought of it that way, so that is bursting, had it confused with turbo. yes, thats a better way to describe. after removing the edge, i now have a check engine lite. truck runs fine with out edge or with the edge on stock. bursting occurred on any setting but 0, i assumed it was temp related. i do not have a scanner so i guess back to plan a. the juice worked fine one day then next day would not work in any setting. i will search bursting. thanks for the heads up, i learn something on this site every time.

max, i do not think it is bursting. i run level 3/5boost, no defuel. the day before the problem, ran level 4 and 5, no change of the rest. ran fine. i would just go from rolling start to wot, ran like i wanted. the next morning after warm up 185 or more would not perform all day. tried several times. never has acted this way.. i have not stacked with high hp.or abused. i have 5000 miles on the edgewith out this problem. then out of the blue bam just quit. thanks for the come back. will post after i find out more nelson

I just had the update done on my truck and I am having the exact same problems as you. Before it went in for the update I had to keep the Juice in level 0 until I reached operating temps. Now even at opperating temps the thing bucks like a horse even on the highway. It did not do this before the reflash at the dealer.

I am going to call edge today to see if they know anything. I'll let you know what I find out.

I know it is not bursting as others are seeing it with the LB7. I was just using the term 'bursting' because mine is doing the same thing and this is how I describe it. :eek: I was just trying to see if you were having the same problem as me. -:t I think it is a temperature issue. I have talked to aaron at edge about it and I am apparantly the first case. You guys who are having the same problem should contact edge. They will get it sorted out for us.

max and orgin. had dealer scan my truck. i never thought to get the code, but his explaniation[my limited understanding] was that the factory perameters of temp were not wide enough when plugging in the block heater thus threw a code. the reflash supposed to take of this. i do not believe is related to edge failure, especially after your reply org. diesel. bully dog factory is on the way to my dealership so after; i stopped a visited. the tech. said he would send the edgeback for reman because he knows they have a problem. do not believe it was sour grapes. hope this is of value thanks for your info. nelson 05 chev bd power pup [not going to be with out some kind of fire breathing diesel]

better explanation; the edge did not just one day quit. half dozen times it would act up but would eventually work given a certain time hr or so. then final day would not work all day long, that being yesterday. will send it back for re do. nelson

anyone moderating this , can not figure the times, looks to be off about 7 hr, maybe just one of those days thanks nelson

Well I have not had my truck plugged in yet. I haven't even dug out my block heater cord.
