That looks great!
Do you have any rubbing up front? Did you have to do any trimming?
Give us the low down man!

Thanks for the compliments guys, Signguy, yes I did trim the front valance a little bit, that is the only thing that touched so far, only had the tires on 10 minutes when I snapped that shot. With the 2" spacers I have exactly 1 1/2" of space between the rears at street pressure with nothing in the bed. With the t-bars cranked that far it rides like hell but it's just until I can gather the cash for a true 4 inch lift. I really wasn't sure if i was gonna like the stockers blacked but I'm love with the look, couldn't be happier.

How much was it for you to have the rims powdercoated?? I always paint mine. Seem to have more luck with durability than powdercoating. Either way it looks awesome man Im a fan of the white and black scheme as you can see haha.

Man, that looks awsome. Take some closeups pictures of the clearances and the coated rims. How far do the rear tires stick out with the spacers?

I really like the way that looks. When it is time to buy new tires I will be going from 255's to the 285's. Tell me how the tires work in the sand I am curious to know.

No problems mounting the 285's? Are they load E's? I am looking to do something similar.

I'd also like to see pics of the space between the tires, and how much they stick out of the wheel well.

The truck didn't have any on it when I bought it and I probably won't run any. Do you think it would look better with the rings? Maybe I should try a set on it just to see if I like it or not.

Tires stick out about an inch and there is exactly 1 1/2 inches between them at street pressure. Had to trim front valance, no rubbing
otherwise.

I had no probs getting them mounted but I've heard some shops won't so it. Yes load E. The Goodrich T/A has a 3 ply sidewall which I figured would help with improving the steering feel, the stock 215s just seemed like they were getting pushed around by truck, steering feel was terrible, but MUCH better now with these tires.

The truck looks great and the mountains in he back ground ain't bad, either. Throw in a surf board and some buns and it would make a great Chevy add.

Give us the sand report and you will definately get a chance to try them out. It will be soft out there after that nice little wind storm but the dunes will be sweeeet.

lancer, are you gonna take the tires off to paint the rims? Seems like a lot of work if you don't get new rubbers.

Rubbers are new.........only like 5k on em anyways. No not planning to break em down, just run a couple strands of painters tape around the bead area and let er rip with the sandblaster. BTW rims aren't rusty or anything like that, just really blasting to get into the hard to sand places so I will have good adhesion with sealer and paint.................been painting wheels for people for many years.......... done it same way in a body shop I worked in as a kid

Do you need to have that much space between the tires? Could you run a smaller spacer to bring the tire more under the fender? Would a one inch spacer be enough? Thanks! Your truck looks great!

I went with the 2" so if I needed to really deflate the tires (like 10psi) they wouldn't rub, it does look to have a pretty big gap (1.5 inches) but I don't care, I love the wider look anyway. After I've had the occasion to deflate once and can see how much bulge occurs, I may machine em down but I doubt there'll much space left, and I want some space left so I'm not pinching rocks between the tires when I'm off road.

If you ran a smaller spacer you would have to cut down your wheel studs. I think it looks real good sticking out of the fenders.
