Can any one advise if the computer looses memory if the battery is unhooked for an extended period of time? Mine was unhooked for 3 weeks while it was in the shop. Also, people talk about having it re-flashed by GM, what does the re-flash fix from the factory setting? (PS**The check engine light is not on)

Don't know about having the battery disconnected but, I was advised by people at Houston this weekend that after 100K on the speedometer you need to have the dealership reflash the stock ECM as it has glitches over a period of time from changing so much info during the life of the truck. Figured what could it hurt?
