I noticed in some pics that the DIC buttons are located on the left side of the dash cluster, along side the left a/c vent. I dont have them. I have to use the trip reset button. Anyone know if I could get a new a/c vent cover, the button panel with harness and plug it in? Would it work?? Even my wifes uplander has the buttons but not my LMM. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The GM Accessories Zone website shows the retrofit DIC buttons as well as the left side dash trim plate as one piece. This is for the '07 and '08 models.

a good find. Didnt know they sold it that way. Anyone know if I just need a harness to plug in to get it to work? Thanks in advance.

Too darn bad the break controller option was not a plug and play! I found a sweet 3500 CC LB and didn't have the controller....bummer!

too!! That is a shame. Glad mine came with it or I'd be in the same boat trying to install a factory one. Cant believe its so involved putting it in.

breaks are much more complex than just reading some statistical data your computer is always calculating. But aftermarket work well too!!!

I have no problem with the aftermarket. Good luck with it.
