OK:

I am about to order one of these units. Either a buckstop baja or an Alien bumper. Typically they seem to be under 200#'s. My concern is what of the suspension.? Should I do anything to beef this up given that Diesel engines are already heavy in the front end..?

If I did in fact need to "beef" it up...what is required.?? If I did beef it up, how could I integrate a leveling kit within said ":beef" up.?? Can I do both to get what I need.??

thanx..tons.!!

Stk

I don't think the weight is enough to worry about since we have heavy bars to begin with. If it seems to sag some later you can always crank it up some. The only reason I noticed any difference on my truck was because I drove it a day without a bumper at all. Handling and such now doesn't feel much different than my dad's truck.

I see no shocks in your signature, I would recommend some new shocks for better handling whether you did the bumper or not.
