Doing some work under the hood of my truck last weekend. After I finished and started the truck the check engine light was on. I have thoroughly checked and nng is diconnected. Is there any way of clearing the code without going to my dealer?

The smart alec in me wants to say look under the hood and 'Check Engine' again before starting.

But other than a dealer trip or clearing the codes with a Diablo programmer, Bullydog programmer, Quad programmer, or others, I think it stays until cleared

If you have an Autozone nearby they can read and erase codes for you for free. They cleared one for me just yesterday.
