: 4L80E Cooler Line Question

On a 4L80E transmission there are 2 lines to and from the trans cooler.

On the exhaust (passenger) side of the transmisson one line joins the trans housing above the other line.

Does anyone know for sure which is the return from the cooler? Top one or bottom one?

The return line is the one that comes from the bottom of the cooler.

the lower line is the return......the upper line is the feed out to the cooler
