What exactly does the converter lockup valve do thats better than stock?

The Allison runs at 250 psi and drops to 150 psi anytime the converter clutch comes on. The Transgo converter flow valve allows you to bump that pressure to either 170 or 190 psi.

valve is made by Trans go and trans needs to come down/apart to be isntalled
