Is there a way to have the attitude show egt's without the juice module? My dealer has no problems with aftermarket power enhancements, but I travel up to 900 miles several times a year on snowmobile trips. If I ever do have a problem out on the road I would like to be able to remove the juice and leave the attitude. This way I would be able to tell the non-local dealer I only use the attitude to watch egt's when going through the mountains pulling trailers. Pulling my attitude would be a pain in the a## because I have it in an overhead mount. If I leave the attitude up there with wires just hangin underhood the dealer I am sure will be more than a little suspicious. Any suggestions?
thanks mick
That's like carrying a gun with no bullets. "No officer I only use it to crack walnuts..."

No, The attitude will only function when hooked to the Juice. If you want to be assured of no issues during a dealer visitation then you will need to remove the attitude as well. At the least pull the cable through the fire wall and into the passenger compartment so as not to make it look funny underhood. Personally I would remove the entire package.Later,

Simple get a pyro gauge, and instal it in the truck. Then just remove the entire Edge unit.

ewwww..
good point. That would be hard to say you had no mods. I too have mine in the overhead mount. I guess if it was a serious issue you could go pulling everything and put a cork in the egt probe hole. This sucks. EGT's are so important to a diesel, why no stock guage.

Well I had the same considerations and I got an EGT gauge mounted in a piece of black Lexan which replaces the Attitude overhead mount. The EGT leads hook to the thermocouple wires from the probe where they'd normally hook into the Juice. Works slick and explains the probe in the manifold.
There's a pic or two of the install around here someplace if you're interested.

thanks guys. that Censored ing sucks. not exactly what I wanted to hear but it's the answer i expected? I like the attitude a lot because of the adjustability and info it offers. guess i can just get a guage and have the holes drilled next to the brake controller for the gauge mount. then leave the gauge in the glove box and remount and hook it up if the need ever arises. now............... anyone have any recommendations on a cheap gauge that would mount under the dash next to a brake controller. thanks again guys.
