I am in the process of designing my own pin striping (see link in sig-not trying to advisertise, just fyi). I started based off my old truck which was solid black. I thought about using patriotic colors but didn't think red, white, and blue would show up as well as chrome would.

My new truck is white and I know chrome would look good on it too but I'm not sure what I want to use for my colors-red and blue or chrome...

What do you think?

Muddy, seeing as you're in the military, why not camo?? That would be something a bit different than the usual chrome you see on every truck on the road :)

I'm leaning toward Red and Blue more and more. The red will go with the GMC badging and blue is my favorite color. I have the body side pretty well done (just needs a little tweaking) and need to draw up the hood design and then I just need to figure out my rear window and tailgate. Man, I wish I had my own plotter.

Oh, I'll remove those once I'm ready to put my pin striping on. Its basically going to go from just behind the headlights to the taillights.

I think chrome on an all black or all white truck, IF you have to put something on it. . .
