Anyone out there running the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor on their trucks, and if so, what's the opinion on them.

I'm not running them but I've heard good things about them.

Put them on my 03 GMC 2500HD 4X4 CC D/A which I just traded in. GMC had 78K, 40K with the GY’s. Fronts had about 11 33nds left, rear about 4-5 left. Great tires, good handling, traction etc. When my current tires go, I will replace with whatever GY has at that time. Had 18K pulling a heavy 5er, with the tires at max. 0 problems.

I have the new GY Silent Armor Pros and love them. Got them after my BFG's had a LARGE problem with tire seperation. If you get them, use a piecs of chalk across the tire to find the optimum tire pressure. If you keep them inflated to the suggested pressure, you will think that they are real stiff. I currently am running mine at 55 from, 60 back and love the ride and there is NO tire noise. :)

Just put a set of 265/75/16's on my 06 SBCC 2wd and I don't like them. When you are changing lanes at a 60mph or even around town it feels like the backend wants to wiggle around. Took the truck back to the tire dealer and they adjusted the tire pressure all around to factory specs. I still get the wiggle but not as pronounced. Have to take the truck in to reprogram the speedo. Mileage is down about 2-3g/m hand calculated. Other than that they are quiet and they do ride very smooth compared to the stones that have gotten me stuck in my back yard 7 times down to the axle in soft desert sand.

HDHauler - I have had mine on for about 1000 miles now and the sway/wiggle problem is still there, but it gets better as the tires get a few miles on them.

I had Bridstone REVO's on there in a 265 and the sway/wiggle was WORSE than the Goodyear's FYI...

From almost everyone I have read that almost every tire has this problem when it's new...?

there are always happy people, but if you really dig and check you will find that almost every tire has some complainers. The REVO, the GY, the Pirelli and on an on... so?

Great tires. I would def buy them again. Quiet, good on the road. Much better off road than I expected. With the 50k mile warranty it is hard to pass them up.
