Hi All,

Just wondering what are the most common remarks you hear about your C4500.

I just got my truck and so far it's, "Wow" "Now thats a truck!" and "what's the MPG?"

So what do hear?

I came out of Wal Mart one day to find a young lady in a bikini leaning against the front fender and some dude taking pictures.

Twice now I have had people just walk up and open the door while I wasn't watching. They always want to see the inside.

I hear the usual things everyone else is hearing, how much, where did you buy it, what's the milage, what motor is in it, how does it tow. But my favorite one is why do you need that? Or What the heck do you pull with that

I've come out of stores and found hand prints on my windows from people trying to look inside. People almost crash into me on the road/highway cause they are looking at the truck and not the road. Why just last night I was sitting in the truck outside of a TGI Fridays ( I know but the wife wanted to eat there :( ) and I had the window down, I'm stairing off into space and this guy walks up and climbs onto my running boards and gets right in my face, "Hey man, how much did that cost? How's it pull? I want to get something like to tow my trailer"
The best one was in Flagstaff, Az I was at the mall getting lunch, I saw this ***er in an H2 pull up next to the rig, get out, walk around then proceed to climb onto the running boards, look in the window then start rocking the cab with the handle on by the rear door, I set off the alarm. Now I have my train horns on a trigger on my alarm remote just for people like that.
Anyone else like to park next to H2 or H3 just to make them feel little? I love pulling up next to one on the road and watching the guy who things he's the man just slump down in his seat :D

The H1 is a real Hummer tho, I give them respect. The H2 is a waste and the H3 looks like my remote controlled truck:cool:

My Father in law has a Yellow Monroe body 4500, I've had cars skid to a stop and almost hit other cars looking at the truck. "It's a pickup on steroids!" is common.

X2 on the neck breakers runnin off the road almost, just to get a look.

And still have people stand and just stare at it and shake there head or talk to themselves.Cant hear them but it seems they like it.

But there is always some mom who's kids are likin it and she gives the hate it look and tells the kids how stupid it is and what a waste and gas guzzler it is and gets in car and drives away....I just laugh..its a real trip and the one funny thing I experienced a few times now.

I stood there first time in aww. Now I just give the kids thumbs up .

My usual questions, and my reponses:

Q - What is that?
A - A Toyota

Q - What do you pull with it?
A - Whatever I want!

I've never had someone climb on a running board or open a door, good thing I'd hate to stick a Kimber is someone's face just for being a dolt.

Yeah..heard all that too, however what really gets them is when they pull up next to me and see a petite little 5'2" blonde pullin a 28' gooseneck loaded with ponies they do shrink down a bit! And I always have to wonder what in the world does one do with a Hummer at any size????

Yeah, I have heard all those lines as well, but what is really a hoot is when the lookyloos pull up next to me and see a petite little 5'2" blonde pulling a 28' gooseneck filled with ponies and then totally shrink away. What I always wonder is, what in the world does one do with a Hummer at any size?????? Unless climbing sand dunes in the middle east...see no point at all.

I have a Custom made 6500 pickup.

Most common question is:
What is the gas milage?
Many are suprised to hear it is diesel. Just go to show how smart some are...

The most inteligent questions are from the contractors in the home depot parking lot...

I hear that, I need to take mine for usual service and it needs a new windshield :( Damn rocks....
Seems with these MD as well as others its a love or a hate relationship. So far mine has been good to me, just wish it would play nice with Edge Juice w/attitude but it won't so time to find another unit maybe a PPE?
