Dont ya hate buying a new plow truck and your waiting for snow, just so you can try out the new plow.
I had a previous post on plows, And I went with the Boss 8'2 V plow. Hookup is simple(as long as your on level ground) And this thing angles, V's And scoops FAST. The plow frame is very high from the ground compared to alot of other plows(esp. the Meyer) Im impressed so far, but the proof is in the pudding or snow.
How long does it take to get used to a vplow?

I'm in the towing biz, so I'm ready for the snow also. :)

I had an 8' Sno-Way V-plow a few years back, and they are cool. If doing parking lots, the majority of your plowing would likely still be straight blading at full left (or right), then use the scoop position to clean up. You can tilt both blades back slightly to run a long single driveway in heavy snow. Other than that, the tilting "in" position is useless, other than driving around town with both wings in.

You will get used to it. The hardest thing to get used to was the control, as most V-plows have a handheld control now. When I'm plowing, I don't want a handheld control, that bothered me. I prefer a dash mount, or gooseneck mounted control.
