Maybe its just my area, but I have been looking to possibly pick up an additional 6.5l, but it seems as if they have almost gone up in price lately. When I picked up my last one a year ago, I paid $3000 for the crew cab I have with 130,000k mi on it. Now it seems like they are hard to find and when do they are more than what I was seeing a year ago and most are 200k mi and more.

Just purchased my 95 Silverado with 215,000 (overhaul 12k ago). Heavy 3/4 extended cab, long box. Found on Craig's list for $4,000.

bah, I win!

I got my 95 Suburban 2500 with 177k on it for $2400. It had the kind of crappy white paint, a dent in the rear bumper from backing up and turning to sharp with a trailer, but was otherwise in great shape. It even had a PMD heat sink and a new PMD that was less than a year old on it.

Of course, I got lucky and the owner didn't know that the 2500 and diesel option made it worth a lot more than a 1500 with a 350.

How's $9200 for a 2000 4x2 reg cab long bed with 84K miles sound? The pics of it look REALLY nice.
