Yesterday leaving the hosiptal valet parking I noticed my check engine light on for the first time. I pulled up the parking lot and read the codes with my Predator. I got EGR codes: P0401, P0406 and P046C. This isn't the first time these codes have shown up but the first time the light came on. I cleared them then when I got home I checked again and had P0406 and P046C but no light. I cleared them.

Do you thing something is happening with the stick or is the EGR bad?

I have the stick and blocker plate installed since about 1000 mi now have about 25,000.

Sorry I have no answers. I am interested in seeing replies as I have the same codes, and an EGR valve on back order for a stock truck. Thinking I want B&F, as well as a predator......... don't want more codes

P046c is a bad ERG valve. Stick can't help that.

Thanks…just what I didn’t want to hear. What will or could happen if I don’t get the valve replaced? I soldered the connections on the stick and didn’t want to remove it if I didn’t have too.
