Any thoughts on Banks Ram Air Intake system? It reports 22 hp increase and 39 ft torque lbs. My truck is basically stock other than egr blocker and fingerstick. I am not interested in huge increase but something simple and cost effective. I have plenty of power I need from my truck to tow enlcosed snowmobile trailer or 33 1/2ft fifth wheel camper. But kinda of wanting to try something different out of curiousity....

Banks wouldnt be my choice... too expensive. If i were you i'd buy a afe or some sort of dry cone filter.

Golfsnownut............ i have th ebanks ram air intake, and yes it may be a little expensive, but definitely worth every penny. The increase in air flow is phenominal. And the sound it gives the engine is great. i have had it on for about a year now and it works amazing.

Touch over $200 for my S&B and i love it! Big improvment!, Turbo sounds like a semi now, cheap compared to an AFE and just as good and soposto filter better, its an oiled element but i've never had one code or issue! Check em out!
