just like it says, what do those trouble codes mean, they deal with air bags, i just can't find any literature on the net about it??????

What is the letter in front of the number?

i thin it was P, it was in the SRS portion of the tech 2.

codes show as B1054 from my 98 GM manual (as in a Body code, vs P as in Powertrain no P codes I can find with those numbers) vol 1 of 4

B1054 is an air bag code inflatable restraint switch fail, B1071 is internal SDM fail when combined with B1018 book says replacing of the SDM Sensing Diagnostic Module is required, code B1018 or B1024 will make 1071 set also so when you fix the 1018 cause the 1071 should go away; this truck been in a wreck or underwater ???
