Copied from the article....

Besides the new look, the Sierra--and its cousin, the Chevrolet Silverado--gets a number of technical goodies when it shows up in dealerships in late 2005. You can expect the pickups to get things such as an engine that shuts off at stoplights, electrically assisted acceleration, and Displacement-on-Demand, a system that allows the engine to run on fewer cylinders while cruising.

Displacement on Demand...... we had a Caddilac in the early 80's that did that..... pretty cool feature... not so sure i'd want it on a truck ...

Engine that shuts off at street lights?

Yikes! That's almost as bad as that wanna be full size Nissan titan!!! Come on GM what happened to the good ole days, mold em after the 49, 59 or 67-69 Chevys. Bring back some class and character instead of copying and updating what the competetion does!!! IMHO 67-69 were some of the best looking trucks GM produced.

Remember how long we had to wait before GM released pics of the Silverado hood and grill for the 05. I don't think we will see a smoking gun of what it will look like until July 2006 for the 2007 MY. There was some shots of the Tahoe/Yukon floating, but they were inconclusive at best. Any who....

We are building the 06 SUV hood dies now.

The trucks come after the SUV this time around.

Hookem 9---Keep saving until you can cash one out. Then start saving for the next. Get youself in a position where you are not having to deal with some banker or finance company. Reverse the normal buying procedure and you will have a lifetime of freedom from making payments on what all too soon becomes a old item.
