Well I've been lurking around here for a few weeks now while looking at trucks. I originally came to check out the classifieds in hopes of finding what I was looking for. I ended up finding something local. It is a 2005 Chevy Crew-Cab with the LT package, LLY Duramax of course! It has 45,000 miles and was on the lot for $33,995. I ended up getting it for $29,800 which I thought was fair.

I'd like to add a Nav system sooner or later. I'd want an in-dash one but I'm not sure whether to go with a factory system or after market. I've been checking out the write-ups in the DIY sections-- interesting reads! The only issue I've found so far is that my power-folding mirrors seem to be acting up. Sometimes they fold, sometimes they don't. I did a search and only found some info about swapping out folding mirrors for towing mirrors. Any ideas?

Some pics I took last night- hopefully I'm doing this right.

That is SWEET!! There is a magical 45 minutes before the sun sets when pictures turn out VERY good. It makes your rig even better looking.

Thanks guys. I know black trucks are a total pain to keep clean but I'm up for it! A truck looks good clean or dirty so its a win-win, right? The only thing I've done so far is hardwire my V1 (boring, I know). The previous owner put the tubular running boards on, tinted the windows, had a Rhino-liner put in, and a little bug shield.

I like the liner, tint, and mini-bug shield (keeps chips off of the paint!). I'm not so sure about the running boards but I think they're staying on for now to please my mom/gf/and sister. We'll see.
