I'm getting a small "clunk" between 2nd and 3 gear. Anyone else having this problem? I never noticed it until the dealer reset the computer for the tires. He said that he reset for 265’s but couldn’t reset for the 285’s. Changed the shift points some what, but now clunks between the 2 gears a little.

the new Allison-1000 for the new body style i guess will have some noise when shifting. the dealers have two programs for our trannys one is stock and the other is to lower the pressure so u dont have the noise. but if u ask me thats just stupid everyone know the more pressure on the cluch plates the better (less slipping). im getting it with stock 245 tires and if ur running 285 i would leave it. "stock" that is or do some research and see if u can raise the pressure control switch yourself. if you dont like the noise and want to keep your settings i would make the tranny relearn on how u drive there are lots of threads on here about relearning trannies. good luck
