I am going to buy a new Avic unit today and wanted some help from you audio gurus. I have a 2006 SLT truck with the stock bose audio.

I know i need the steering wheel control adapter for pioneer headunits... best brand to go with?
What other adapter(s) do i need to install the headunit?

Stuff from PAC no doubt... Where to buy? Supporting vendor, perhaps?


Anyone installed one of these before? Do they go in smooth? Will i need anything besides audio adpaters, such as adapter plates or mounting kit?
