I am repeatedly getting a SES light. The DTC reads P0540. Something about Intake Air Heater "A" Circuit.


I had been setting codes while towing with the Juice. Mostly the overboost P0234. So when the light came on again, I didn't think much about it.


I read and cleared the P0540 code twice now in two weeks. It came on again today, this time I have not cleared it.


I'm thinking this doesn't have anything to do with the Juice or towing..but could be an issue.


Is there anything more I can do to check this out or should I plan on taking it into the dealer?

Jim, check the 175 amp mega fuse under the fuse block cover, you have to remove the main cover to see it, its got two heavy red wires from it and mounts on the forward side of the fuse panel. should be hot on both sides with a test light. if not, replace it. I have them for 7.00. also check the "fuel ht" fuse, should be a 15 amp.
