Hello,
This is my first post. However, I have been lurking for months.
I have a 2006 LLY (VIN 2) Crew Cab in the W/T Configuration. I have been searching for days and I can not find my answer.
Can you convert a WT to power windows/locks? I am sure you can. Has anyone done it? Would someone be so kind as to post a link? My eyes are getting crossed!
Thanks in advance,
Tim

Actually, there is post going on about it in the electrical heading, I believe. Here's the link: http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186476
To convert to factory power windows / door locks, it will be expensive and quite a bit of work.

Thanks,
I'll dig through that. I never thought to look at Electrical. I went straight for interiors.
Thanks again!

Yeah it's a little confusing because some stuff you think would be in electrical isn't and some stuff you shough should be in interior or exterior are in electrical. One rule of thumb is to look under the group heading and there is some guidlines about what should be in that group. Doesn't always work out though.
Looks like you might want to go aftermarket from what I've read - unless you have a couple of doors laying around with the windos/locks aleady installed.

I did the conversion in my W/T. Do not even think about going OEM! Way too much trouble. You would have to find tons of parts and do some serious wiring. On top you would have to find someone that is a Tech2 wizzard to program you all of that.
Check out a1electric.com for your power window/door lock needs.
