I was looking at starters on ebay and there are alot of them new for around $100. I assume they are offshore for that price. Does anyone have any experience with them? I bought an engine that is missing the starter.

I just picked one up at Napa here the other day as mine is acting up once in awhile. $496 Canadian. Will get $100 back for the core when i change it, if i change it... i found a loose battery connection that might have been the culprit, waiting to see if it acts up again now.

If Napa carries one for your truck, they offer the lifetime warranty program for it (it's a little more). If it EVER and I mean EVER goes out again, they will just hand you a new one and not even ask a question. . . I had a friend that for some reason used to go through a new starter about once a year. . . I told him about the Napa lifetime warranty and he bought me and Lisa dinner. . .Worth looking at.
