Is this a good price for the Bully Dog Power Pup used for 6 months? I'm thinking of adding it and wondered what the MPG gain would be as compared to the Predator. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's what I was thinking. He said it was part # 43568, but I'm sure it was a typo as it should have been #43569. What have you noticed in MPG gain with yours, or have you noticed any gain?

I would think that is a pretty good price, you might be able to talk him down some more. I know that my 04 LB7 did very well on the pup. I don't recall what mpg I was getting but it made my truck have enough pep that it was ok..

ON extreme it sucks the fuel, Performance aint bad. I would say that i gained MPG on the Performance over stock..

I think it was a Power Pup, but I'm not sure. I actually bought a Hypertech from another member yesterday, so I'm glad I didn't win the Bully Dog.

you can get a predator for 300 shipped from xtremediesel.com. Personally I like the predator better. I have gotten better mileage with it and there is less timing rattle. I got my power pup off e-bay for 305 shipped brand new about 2 years ago. I have since sold it and bought using the predator. (diablosport) It has diagnostics and had been overall better on my truck. I wish I would have done more research before buying the power pup, but it wasn't bad, but it didn't stack well with my TST.

You will like the Hypertech. I have had it for over 2 years and love it. I am not interested in blowing up my truck and don't have the funds to rebuild the tranny. The Hypertech is great for around town and towing and I get over 20 mpg on the hiway unloaded. Towing an 11,000 lb trailer I get 10.5.
