I am useing a juice/attitude and am seeing trans slippage in first and second gear when pulling in level 1 with the tow/haul mode engaged. Is this normal?? I know it is normal with tow/haul off to see slipping. Does lock out in third, fourth and fifth with 0% indicated.

I had the dealer change trans fluid at about 12,500 and am going to change it myself to transynd soon. I have about 28000 on my truck now. When I changed the trans spin on last time I found the dealer did not reinstall the magnet. Typical of the kind of service I find in this area. When the dealer replaced the fuel pump I found three bolts on the power steering pump bracket ready to fall out, numerous plastic electrical covers left open, and had to add a gallon of coolant to the system to get it to full. Makes me wonder what other surprises are in store. Which brings me to my last question. It could be my imagination but it seems the exhaust fumes are much more noticeable in the cab now since the fuel pump was replaced. The worst is when I use my fresh air and not recycle. Any thoughts?

even in TH the converter does not lock up in 1rst. It locks up part way through 2. No idea on fumes, maybe they didnt tighten the V clamp on the down pipe or something???

Thanks ratlover

I get the feeling the poor mechanics at my dealer have some "suit" looking over there shoulder with a stop watch.
