I am ready to install the fast idle feature on my 02 LB7, I have the instructions from Kennedy/Dragosljvich.
I find that I have the 8 pin connector behind the glove box, does anyone have the instructions on how to proceed from here?
The Kennedy instructions don't cover what to do if you have the connector.

I had the ppe kit and I just unplugged mine and plugged in the one from the high idle. No problems yet, works great. The pin that goes into the computer #71 IIRC is a pita to put in, removing the cover, then harness and clips. Make sure you put the gaskit back on the harness for the computer, I forgot and had to pull it apart again. IDK if kennedys is the same as ppes. If your talking about the harness that has a black and black with a white strip thats the one I unplugged. Hope I helped. Its nice to have and I really like it.

I put one in my '01. I followed the instructions as written, and everything worked perfectly.
Getting the connectors apart was the trickiest job. And buying the matching pin connector from the dealer was the most painfull part.I looked into some other pin connectors but thought the GM part # was the best way to go. The other thing that I did was hook the power into the E- BRAKE switch so that you have to put the e-brake on to activate it and that also stops you from driving away with out shutting it off.
