Got a chance to do some plowing wednesday night thurs morning. Last year I plowed with just my regular juice and stock trans with the juice set down to level 1. This year was with a Suncoast level 3 and a TTS extreme with it set to the 80hp level. The air temp started around 30 and ground temp was in the mid 50's. we recieved and easy 6" of heavy snow but as it hit the ground especially early it melted partialy to 3-5 or so depending on what area. This turned into a very heavy pile to plow. Its my favorite kind though since you can really use a deccent amount of speed and it dosnt blow on you and turn vis to crap and when your windrowing it you can really fling it out. It was like driving around in a big slushy. I was somewhat concerened with being able to plow easily with that high a HP tune and also somewhat curious to see how the SC preformed, mostly how the 3 disk would work out. Plowing in tow haul as I did last year my trans temps didnt really run higher than last year. Also found plowing with the extreme in the lowest was extremely easy. I was concerend about being not being able to set the power down lower but even with a pair of ratlover signiture series slicks in the back;) it wasnt bad. I couldnt plow in 2wd by any means but driving around town it was controlable. Should be fine with some tires with tread on the back. I am rather pleased to find that my mods didnt affect my ability to use my truck for work witch is really the whole point to this post, to share my experiences for those that may be in a similar situation, you can have your cake and eat it too:cool: . Normally I dont doubt Steve but I figured he was from sunny CA and forgot what snow was like and wasnt 100% convinced when he told me not to worry about being able to controll my truck when i expressed concerens over plowing with the 80hp tune. Actually I think his exact words were "take your damn foot outa it". I found though that I had no problems controlling the 80 hp tune. Even though the juice was a very good box and it served me well I now have no use for it. Feel like I'm selling off a old friend but TTS is the only program I need. I woulda got pics but as I was finishing the last lot at 7 am thursday my pesky real job called and asked if I wanted to come in.

With 16 hours of plowing and then 57 hours of double time from thursday till sunday for storm work.......man do I love snow. Its time to buy more parts.:D

How much weight were you carrying in the back on your signature series slicks?

ratlover and pizzaman...

Check out the new controllers available. I imagine you can get them for the Fishers too.

They got rid of the mode select on the Fishstik and added a Joystick controller for the MVP!

Well Phil, if you take a field trip up to the great white north (AKA wisconsin) for dynoing the truck we could stop at WESTERN since they are made right in Milwaukee. Might be able to do some arm twisting.
