Looking for a set of 17 x 8.5's to put some 265/70R17's on. I like forged for the weight and strength. Although bigger meats look good, I don't want to kill milage and performance right now.

Anyhow, I've disovered that if you want forged wheels right now, you are pretty much going to have to choose from Centerline's selection. American Racing does not have any immediate production schedule for Weld production. Many Weld dealers would only tell me "check back in about 60 days".

So, I gues it's the Eclipses or Grizzley's for me.

Try www.tiresbyweb.com (http://www.tiresbyweb.com)

That's where I got mine. I think the guy I talked to was Jack...They had many forged AR wheels in stock when I got mine...worth a try.

Redbone,
I went to the Offroad Expo last weekend and spoke to the Centerline guys. They said I could have any 17 X 9, 8 on 6 1/2 bolt pattern wheel from their Wilderness series they had in stock for $199.00 a piece. If they had to make them it would $225.00. That's a steal for rotary forged aluminum wheels made in the USA and from materials made in the USA. Not from some foundry where there is limited quality control. Call them up, I think you can buy direct from them, they are in Sante Fe Springs California. As soon as I get the $$$ together, I'll be calling them.
