Was wondering. Am running PPe programmer. Is there a problem running programs in cold weather as long as you don't get on it hard till the engine comes up to temp?
I heard somewhere the guy that have programmers put them back to stock when it get cold.

Thanks Ron :)

Some tuners add ALOT of timing. I know my Bullydog on Extreme will make my engine sound ALOT louder than stock...As far as if its not good for it, i dont know....:)

Banks Six Gun will not add power till engine temp reaches 110 deg.

The only thing like stated above that you might notice is more timming rattle if any. Mainly on start up while its warming. I wouldn't worry about it.

You should warm up any engine slowly until it reaches operating temp. I mean try and drive easy under 2000 rpm until fully warm! Let all parts expand with each other.

I set my Power Pup back to stock for the winter. It was getting a little loud in the morning. Timing rattle I assume.
