Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has tried to make a tank that would do several things.
First of all, it would fit into the bed of a truck that has a cap on it.
Second, it would still allow you to put a full sheet of drywall in the back of the truck.
I'm thinking of a container that could be supported on either end as there is a 6" space in front of the wheel wells on either side for that. The container could be 18" wide x 60" long and 12" deep. It could be supported by a 18" x 18" x 6" leg on either side. Then a feed line could run through the driver's side support leg down to the fuel system. There would still be plenty of room on top for filling and you could still see out the back window.
The tank would be capable of holding 56 gallons of wvo or biodiesel, or regular diesel for that matter. You could still put 35 sheets of drywall in the truck.
Here's a pic of a tank I found on ebay that's basically what I'm talking about. Just a thought.
