Just got a dmax and was wondering if the bra was a must in cold temps. How cold before putting it on and will it be ok with the plow.

Depends where you live! But if your constantly below 32F use the lower one to keep the tranny warm, below 20F use the upper one as well, well thats my rule of thumb. Do this even if I'm towing.

good luck

Bra's usually just get in the way when you are "plowing" and can keep you from reaching the peaks......):h ):h

I am not sure how much you have plowed. I had an '83 gas 2500 chevy with a plow and I had overheating problems sometimes when climbing hills with the plow on.
You may be fine with out the aka Cold Front if you have the plow on.

Its not been recomended to me with a plow on, unless it is seriously sub zero (-15 to -30 F) and your not workin' it too hard. You should not use it above freezing temperatures. If your having a severe Alaskan winter though I would still consider using it. Watch your temps an you'll be fine.
