I know this has been asked in other posts, but I could not find an answer to the route cause. It would seem that after you turn off, unplug or block your egr it starts leaking oil. Has anyone determined if it's the turbo or the pcv thats causing the oil leak? I have my egr turned off via EFI Live but I don't have my pcv rerouted. With as many trucks out there doing this I can't believe they all have bad turbo's. Will the pcv reroute fix this?

I don't know that blocking the EGR would cause an oil leak, or even turning it off for that matter. I have mine blocked, but still turned on and I do not see any oil leaking. I do know that until the PCV is re-routed, there will be oil leaking from several places, thus the importance of re-routing it, in my mind. I am just trying to understand why it would leak oil, unless it is coming from the PCV.
