:confused: I got a wild hair today, and decided to clean up my engine compartment. While I was wiping everything down, I noticed that my radiator hose was flat, just about 2inches from where the hose enters the radiator. The flat section is about 4 or 5 inches long, and ends just before it turns to go the motor. Is this normal? I have not noticed it before, but then again, I don't spend alot of time under the hood.

your rad cap is not venting properly. Give it a loosen and it will vent the vacuum from the system. Cheap to replace it
