I just put on a set of 285/65/18 Toyo Open Country A/T's on a 9 in wide wheel last night. What kind of air pressure ranges are people running in this size tire? I have a 2006 LLY Crew Cab Short Bed that I spend about 85% of the time driving unloaded.

42 right now. I've been trying all different pressures. My truck has rode like poop every since I dumped the 20's for 18's. I don't know how low to go for safety on these big ol' trucks. I've been up to 65. Pack your lunch for that ride. This has all been unloaded btw.

I run about 50 in the back and 55 up front on mine. Tires ride nice and worn good this way.

A friend of mine had been running 80psi in the front and rear. Definetly too much! The truck was very darty and felt like I was riding on knife edges. I went down to 70psi and that felt much better. I need to try lower like you guys are saying. Maybe 65 or 60 in the front and 55 or 50 in the rear.
