: My turn to stall!!!

I've seen so many threads on stalling I figured my turn had to come up and it has. I've had the truck for 7 months. Maybe 4 months ago there was the very odd stall. Then nothing for the next 4 months. Now all of the sudden everytime I start it (warm or cold), it stalls a couple or 3 times before I can get going. It seems that if I can get going then it runs strong. So the stalling typically occurs at idle and low acceleration. Another notable fact I found was that after it stalls if i turn the key off then on again to recycle the glow plugs sometimes it wont cylce them again and the truck wont start, but if i try turning it off and on again (never more then 3 times) then it will cycle them and it starts great. I find no SES light, lift pump test is good, no record of last PMD (but there has been plenty), any ideas....after reading many posts I couldn't find one similar enough to mine, some talk about loose bolts and OPS, what do you think?

Have you changed your fuel filter lately? Any chance air in the fuel lines?

Ignition switch due to key cycling and no WTS.
Get a delco replacement. (ACDelco Part # D1414D from the delco web site)

Agree with corolla.
That said, have a closer look at the grounds. Mine was stalling, no matter hot or cold too. When I relocated the PMD under bumper, I realised the ground wire on top of IP was broken. I repaired it and the truck is no more stalling for now, with still the same old used PMD (new one still on the way :( )

Good call on the grounds.
For yuks one could take of multimeter from the battery + to ECM-1 under hood (with the key in run position) on a low scale say 2 volts and should be looking for close to 0 (this is a voltage drop test, an active resistance test).

Filter replaced 2 months ago. What ground connections should I begine with? The one on the IP forsure, any other common places?

The ones by the transmission dipstick.

Electrical problem - not fuel related, judging by symptoms described
