I have a 83 k30 cucv with 26K miles on it. When iit gets warmed up, it becomes hard to start after 45 min or so of sitting. I was told it could be the injection pump. Any ideas?

sounds like it could be an i.p. problem

with only 26K miles, could the i.p. have already gone bad

I would start with putting a clear hose on the IP return line and check for air bubbles in the fuel system. See sticky.
