This question is from the Accessories Section about XM Radio addons. When installing an aftermarket XM Radio receiver were would one tap into the "RAP" (Retained Accessory Power)? My wife had my XM Radio modulator installed at a local Car Stereo Shop. They tied into the power that goes off when you shut the key off, I went and asked them about connecting it to the "RAP". I was informed it would cost another $30.00 to change it to the "RAP". I would like to change it but sure don't want to fork over another $30.00.
