Hello, i have a friend with a 01 d-max. engine lite comes on along with truck runs fine until 2000rpm. acts like it runs out of fuel. changed fuel filter and primed. 2 days later same problem pulled filter and installed new one primed up and engine lite goes out. filter that was pulled was not full of fuel. when problem appears will pump up primer filter will prime. truck will run good for a couple of days and then problem comes back.
