Of course my oil cooler lines are leaking at the crimp. I want to cut the metal crimp off the assembly and use worm gear clamps to secure the hose back onto the metal lines. Anyone done this? I used to make A/C lines like this, never had any problems. I really don't want to replumb the whole system!

i took mine off and went to a fab. man that i know who can plumb his way out of anything and he took one look at my factory lines and recrimped them. been working great for two years now.

I just replaced both of them with new, wasn't going to take my chances and I like peace of mind.

the ones i had were replaced by me with new gm ones not two years before that it is at least my third set. next time i am going with external cooler and hydrolic lines with a oil thermostat.
