After reading up on all the lifts for the NBS chevy's i have decieded on the Cognito 7-9. I really like the fact that it is a true 7in insted of just a 6. All i want to do is clear 35's with a 10 inch wide wheel probably with a 4.5 inch b.s. and not have to trim too much. I was just wondering what are some of the must have options. I know that i want bilstiens but not sure about the rest. There are quite a few options listed on the NORCAL site and i am not sure what i need. I am trying to keep the price down.

I have what you are going to do. Look in my garage. My rims are not 10" wide though, they are 9" w/ 5" backspacing. I would say at least do everything Cognito sells to the front, with single shocks like I did. On the rear you can save alot of money if you just do blocks and single shock. I chose the deaver springs and they are night and day difference in ride quality!

Just call Nick, give him your wallet size and he'll hook you up.

What copter meant was I can find you the best for your needs. Many people use there trucks in different ways so I can find the happy middle so you will be happy in the end. More options = more money. Start with the basics for the best ride then upgrade for strength. You can always bolt a upgrade on later;) .

I had the 7-9" on my last truck and with a little cranking it cleared 37's on a 10" wide wheel with no problems. You should be fine with what you wanna do. I didn't add any options to mine except for Bilstiens, but the UCA's are a really good idea. Also, get 6" Deaver's for the rear. They ride a lot better than the OEM rear leafs and blocks, plus there's no axle-wrap because you won't have blocks.

Ya', Ya'. I went to Nick and told him I wanted to tow my toyhauler with a mild lift or leveling kit. We went over the basics and built from there. In the end the 4-6 was the right look and height I wanted to achieve with strength and durability to tow the 12k pound beast into the dunes..
