Just purchased a new chevy dual rear wheels, I always drove pick-up trucks since 1966. My last 3 trucks were diesel. Still trying to figure out some vibrations that I never experienced with my previous trucks:

- Intermittent vibrations every 2 second (last for about 2 seconds) coming from transmission when on park ( idle ).

- When decelarating moderatly from 65 miles per hours, the rear end starts vibrating till I reach 60 miles per hours.

This site is very helpful since my dealer doesn't know where to start to fox my truck.

I am glad to be a new member and share my experience if it is needed.

i don't know about that particular vibration, but i just replaced a 2006 crew cab 2500hd that had a vibration that would come in about 45mph and last until i got above 70mph. The dealer said it was the tires (brand new bfg load range e's). so i took it to te tire place and they rebalanced them about three times over a one month period and it never got better. so the tire dealer replaced the tires with new ones and to this day i have the same problem and the dealer says it is the tires. That is some dealer for ya. i am not too worried about it now b/c i am selling the truck, but i sure would like to know what the problem was.
