Looking for a simple upgrade untill the cash flow allows a full lvl3, has anyone used the Bully dog shift enhancer? Loook fairly simple and hey holding a extra 50 horse is a good thing):h . So fill me in on the good, the bad and the ugly.

My suggestion is to buy the Transgo shift kit and install the 2 trim valves ( and drill 2 holes) for the time being and save the rest of the kit for Suncoast upgrade. This will give your Ally a better shift but it won't give you the longevety. These valves will not help the converter weakness either. This is what I would do. Hope this helps

after running the transgo shift kit for a year now, then riding in a ats, transgo is not the way either, they were much cleaner and sharper, trango seams to shift with to much delay, would not use it again for another transmission, tripple lock seams to work good tho from suncoast

That’s what I am thinking of doing is just ordering the Transgo kit and installing the Valve body parts until I get the rest of the Level III saved up for. Anyone know how much that will help... For the most part that’s the whole Transgo kit other than the clutch's right?

Wrong.
One of the biggest Transgo mods is the C2 piston upgrade and converter drainback springs.

ATS uses the co-pilot and that is a huge advantage in the quick shift dept. Transgo will shift very well when the adapts are on your side. Many a Suncoast customers have found it to shift very well, and quick. Yes, I do agree the ATS will shift faster then about anything, but with out the co-pilot, its not much different.(co-pilot includes the 300psi spring in my descriptions)
