Whats the best gear ratio to run w/37 in. tires. I want it to be driveable and not just for offroad but I know that the 3.73's that are in it not what I should be running. but I also dont want it to have it too low of gears, because Im not going to be towing much thats very heavy.

I have 4.88 on my blazer with 37's, I only have a 4-speed trans and I still manage 85 on the highway. Since you don't sound like you're going to do any serious off-roading, I would just go with 4.56 gears, you'll probably be much happier with the highway revs, but you'll notice a substantial increase in power. It's easer on the rest of your drive train to be geared properly, too.

i can tell you there is a difference between 3.73 and 4.1 with 35" tires with comparable power. i would at least drop to a 4.1 if you plan on towing on a regular bases 4.56 would put you back close to stock setup in the gear setup

4.56's are what I was planning on, that sounds like it will give the most power and the best set-up, thanks
